Understanding Carat Weight
Carat refers strictly to the weight of the diamond (1 ct = 0.2 grams). While larger carat weight increases stone presence, proper proportion mapping ensures maximum light output.
Prioritize Cut Grade first. An Ideal Cut 1.5ct diamond will appear larger and brighter than a poorly-cut 2.0ct stone.
